Blending tea at home is not an exact science. There are so many amazing herbs. I am going to write down a recipe for how u can make your own exotic tea blend at home!
Each herb has their own unique properties and blending them together in the combination can taste amazing. We still have to hit and try and see what suits our tongue and what doesn’t.
A lot of these ingredients can be omitted and replaced with something of your own choice.
The first ingredient is dry hibiscus flower- Please add 1 cup Hibiscus flower. Hibiscus is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Its also great for the skin and boosts immunity.
We are now going to add a cup of rose hips powder, rose hips are the seed form of roses crushed. Theses are also packed with vitamin C and antioxidants.
Now add half a cup of dried peppermint leaf the mixture. Peppermint tea adds aroma and also helps in increasing the healing properties of other herbs added in the mixture. It also aids digestion and is anti-viral and antibacterial.
We now add a quarter cup of lemongrass powder. Lemon grass has healthy flavonoids, vitamin C and minerals like iron, magnesium and potassium.
We now add a quarter cup of dried orange peels. Oranges are high in flavonoids and vitamin C and they also help in digestion and respiration.
Next we add a quarter cup of Lemon Verbena. Lemon Verbena smells amazing, it’s good for the nervous system as well as emotional health. It’s uplifting and clear stress and also aids in digestion.
Lastly we add a quarter cup of wild cherry bark. Wild cherry bark is a wonderful herb for respiratory and cardiovascular health.
We can now pack this entire ingredient in a couple of ways and Use a infuser to dip this in our water to make the tea.
We can also use individual tea bags and seal the open end by a hot iron. We can take a 6inch length of cotton yarn and attach it at one end to tea bag and other to end to a tea tag and use it to dip and have tea.
