counterculture. Hippies developed using their lifestyles.
Hippies favoured long hair and casuals, often unconventional dress. Sometimes hippies wear
psychedelic colours [middle yellow, vivid red, malachite, shocking pink and interdimensional blue,
turquoise blue]. Many males grew beards, both men and women wore sandals and beads.
Long flowing granny dresses and granny glasses were popular at that time. Hippies commonly took up
communal living arrangements. Folk and rock music were integral parts of hippie culture. Public
gatherings –part music festivals, sometimes protests, etc.
